Very upset after being told I dont qualify
So I waited 6 months from referral to get to orientation/info session. Then got an appointment with the nurse practitioner and had a bunch of blood tests done last week. I had my appointment with a VERY young nurse who told me straight away that I dont qualify because my BMI is 39.4 and although I have secondary (high blood pressure, high cholesterol), it doesn't count as the only secondary that counts is diabetes.
So why, am I asking myself, did i go to orientation, get blood tests and to be told this !!
