I know this forum should not be used for medical advice and only you're surgeon should give you instructions but I was wondering if anyone has had this issue. I'm 10 weeks postoperative and was doing fine. Over the past few days I've had a fairly constant pain (about a 5 out of 10) from my sternum to my belly button deep inside. It does go away but comes back. I'm also nauseous and have a hard time eating I've tried just soups Just generally off a bit. Anyone have these issues. Thanks

have no answers for you but I sure hope that you call your centre/surgeon and get it resolved....here's hoping for a non-eventful outcome

You really need to talk to a doctor and if the pain gets to bad go to the emergency. For 2 years I was in and out of emergency because of pain. It got to the point I could not eat. Few bites and I would feel so sick. It is not pleasant and I can understand what you are feeling like. Hope you find out what is the cause soon.  They did finally find out what was wrong with me after 2 years, spending 6 days in a hospital and having my gallbladder removed which we now know was not the problem.  :You might want to search Candy Cane Syndrome. good luck

Great to hear from you!  I'm not sure what to say other then encourage you to call the clinic and see what they would suggest, I have a feeling you may need to go see Dr Reed about this. Never ignore that kind of pain.  I recently had to have my gall bladder removed it started bothering me at about 10 weeks post op, before the WLS my ultra sound showed my gall bladder was free from stones, then all of a sudden it was packed with stones.  Often this is the result of fast weight loss.

When in doubt check it out.  Good luck and please keep us posted!
