Order of Appointments for HRRH...?????

I've been to the Orientation session at Humber Finch, and was called today with my first appointment... which is with a surgeon.

Is this normal? I thought you had to see the dietitian, social worker, etc, prior to the surgeon. Has anyone been through the process at HRRH who can shed some light?

I saw the surgeon first....Dr Starr...the all in one day I seen the nurse, social worker and nutritionist and Internet...got approved that day....then called the next day for my surgery date...If you ask for all in one day they will try to accommodate...

I had surgeon appointment, the social worker, dietitian and nurse, now i have the internist ( dr glazer ) on sept 3rd and my surgeon again in sept 16 when I will get my date. First appointment was in June 2013.

They are a great time and work with you on combining the appointments when they can.

Do you know who your surgeon is?
