Good morning,

Back from vacation for me. Was super-active...as marathon training doesn't take vacations. lol Ate more than I should, not terrible, but vacation is what it's all about baby! Now the detox begins with no wheat. Might be a bit before I do no milk products again. LOL

2.5 years post RNY

 

B: Banana and almond butter

S: Say Cheesecake (oh how i've missed you, having two today, and that's it for awhile)

L: Chicken Burger with Fire Roasted veggies, and grilled veggies

S: Say Cheesecake (that's right...number 2!), protein shake (vega with unsweetened coconut milk and PB2)

D: unsure, but i'll plan for tilapia and corn salad

 

Totals Cal: 997 Carb: 79 Fat: 39 Protein: 96 Fibre: 13 Sugar: 30

Hmm, total are low. Will probably have soy beans, since I have a bag of them.

 

 

Surgery March 23/2011. Completed three full marathons and two half marathons, two half Ironman distances. Completed my first Full Ironman distance (4 km swim, 180 km bike, 42.2 km (full marathon) run) in Muskoka August 30/2015. Next Ironman Lake Placid July 23/2017!

Often during stalls you will lose inches. It is like your body needs to catch up with the weight loss. Went to wonderland yesterday. I have now found something I am too old for. The roller coasters were just too painful. My arthritic body did not like to be bounced around so much. Not to mention my head! I had looked forward to the wave pool but found it too cold! I didn't remember it as being frigid.

Probably didn't seem so frigid last time because you had your own padding and insulation!

We passed Wonderland yesterday and I was telling my daughter that I was looking forward to going next year with her. She then told me that she is starting to get motion sickness on the rides!

4 weeks post RNY - stayed up late and slept in as not back at work yet. Planning the last blast of summer vacation w kids this week.  Looking forward to east enders group tonight.  Will walk if the rain stops.

My 3rd week stall is over and I'm down another 2 lbs for a total of 32+ lbs since starting Opti and 47+ lbs from my highest.  I'm definitely in the shock and awe stage!

B - 1 egg + egg white scrambled

L - 2.5 oz maple orange glazed salmon + greek yogurt/peach popsicle

S - 1/2 c SF/FF chocolate pudding w 1 TBSP pro powder

D - grilled shrimp skewer + cucumber slices

TOTALS: 564 Calories, 26 Carbs, 17 Fat, 71 protein

Day 24 of 27 of Opti so guess what I am having today?

My how the time has flown. Surgery at the end of this week... woohoo!!

Today was a great first day - but really busy!  I don't think I'll have much time to post over the coming weeks, but I will make sure to keep tracking via my app.

I'm going to go for a run tonight after the kids are in bed - hopefully the rain is done for a bit!

Here's what I had or am planning to have today:

B - 1/2 cup greek yogurt, blackberries/blueberries, SF syrup, protein bar

S - Apple, cheestring

L - Chicken ceasar salad

S - 2 pepperettes, hummus with carrots

D - Butter chicken, Quest PB cup

S - Jello SF, Cottage cheese with cinnamon and splenda

Totals - 1,708 calories, 106g carbs, 77g fat, 154g protein
