I haven't posted an up date in a while I had my follow up with Dr Jackson on Friday. Might I add that I forgot how good looking he is lol Any ways there is nothing related to the RNY itself that they can find to be causing my pain they don't see a reason just yet to go in for more exploratory surgery.  In the time I was waiting for my follow up I finally had my appointment with the stomach specialist who has ordered a special ct of my small intestines a colonoscopy and a scope which he is going to be checking my blind stomach as well,  Those tests will be done by the 22 of this month.  If the results of those test are negetive or inclusive then Dr Jackson said they will have a reason to go in and do more  exploratory surgery to see if they can find the cause of the pain.  I have also been referred to a pain management specialist in Windsor to help me better mange the pain and make sure I am getting adequate pain control with medications

Glad to hear you are on your way to getting some answers about the pain. Where exactly is the pain again?  In your intestines I am guessing?  Well, I hope this is resolved for you as quickly as possible.  Take care,

Its in the lower right of my abdomen think where your appedix would be and it radiates up to my rib cage so pretty much my entire right side of my abdomen to my rib cage is in constant pain that doesnt let up

Sounds painful and difficult because that area is used so much and hard to rest it.  Hope they give you answers soon!

So sorry you're experiencing such pain with no answers yet!  At least they're still looking.  Here's hoping they find an easy fix and you're back to your usual cheery busy self in no time!  kiss
