Tell me your Opti Recipes
I know I asked something like this before.. and I cant seem to find it. DOH
Im about to order from Lowcarbgrocery for some syrups.
But I thought I reach out and see what you guys liked and loved and hated. Open to suggestions.
I'm almost finished week 2, one more week to go! For breakfast every day I have been having chocolate opti with 2 tsp cocoa and 1 tsp instant coffee made with very cold water out of my fridge and 600 ml water, right up to the top of my Blender Bottle with shaker ball - very yummy. I usually start with the blender ball and water in the bottle, add the powder, cocoa and coffee, shake a bunch, then top up with more water to fill the 600 ml cup. For lunch I have chocolate with 1 or 2 tsp cocoa and sometimes orange sugar free Torani syrup, sometimes Almond Roca sugar free Torani, sometimes caramel sugar free Torani. For dinner, I usually do something similar. For the last shake of the day, I do vanilla, with the minimum 300 ml water, raspberry sugar free Torani - so good, so much like a thick, rich milk shake. I've tried to make a pumpkin spice latte version with cooled down boiled water, vanilla Opti, pumpkin sugar free Torani, a wee pinch of instant coffee - but it hasn't really seemed to capture it. I keep tweeking with the amount of coffee, amount of syrup and a pinch of nutmeg. I wouldn't recommend Black Cherry sf Torani, it tastes like cough syrup. And as much as I like peanut butter cups, the chocolate Opti with peanut butter sf Torani didn't ring any bells either. To each his own of course, it all depends on your taste buds. I even tried raspberry and peanut butter syrup with chocolate, and that wasn't anything to brag about either. Raspberry, Orange, Caramel and the top three syrup flavours in my book.
In my chocolate Opti, I'll add instant decaf coffee, or just mix it in the magic bullet with ice/water and have it like a smoothie/frosty.
I have raspberry Torani for the Vanilla - I LOVE it. It's fantastic. I'll mix them together, again in the magic bullet like a smoothie/frosty, or I'll just have the vanilla on its' own that way.
I also have caramel Torani, but I found it's just too sweet to add to the chocolate. I want to grab some strawberry Torani too. :)

for sure get the sf da vinci syrups. blend opti with ice and water and enjoy. i mixed them up some thicker and some a little more watery. it really helped.
as for flavors, peppermint was awesome. the fruity ones were not. my wife bought me about 15 bottles all different to help me get through the month lol.
i tried organic coca powder but it didnt do much to the flavor. i didnt try coffee either.
the sf syrups were all i needed.
