Toronto hotel

I am attending the national women's show on Sunday at the metro Toronto convention centre and was wondering if anybody knows of any cheap hotel close by

Depending on what you mean by "close by", I don't really think anything within the downtown core would ever be considered cheap.  You might try one of those find a hotel website who specialize is selling off unsold rooms for less than normal price, but everything is going to be expensive.  There are lots of hotels within a 10 or 20 minute cab ride, but nothing economical.

Mississauga and etobicoke are within 20 minutes of down town and there are tons of cheap hotels.. try dundas st mississauga hotels or the queensway.. the you are not too far but dont have to pay downtown prices..
