hi ...

Can someone tell me if using a Magic Bullet to puree foods worked/works for them or not?  If it did work, could you give me an example of how you pureed, say, chicken, or veggies?

If the MB did not work, what is recommended?

I find that the key is making sure there's enough liquid in the mix. Water works but you can also use low-sodium chicken broth, skim milk, etc. You need to play around with it because too much = too runny, and too little = not very pureed.

I think it is irrelevant the brand of blender you use, as long as it does the job.

The mb is great for making baby food so why not for bariatric puréed food?

I would think you need to make sure you cut up the meat small so the mb breaks it down well.

I actually found the MB not great for it, so I went out the other day and bought a Ninja. I'm hoping it works better because there are higher blades. I found things got caught under the MB blades. :)

I am not quite at the puree stage but I love my magic bullet. I have used it to help make many things. I make home made salsa, hummus, soup and it chops it pretty good. But again you may find something else works better for you.

I LIVE for my magic bullet and it's perfect for puree and protein drinks. I made a pot of homemade chili and just measure out 1/3 cup, put it in the MB and puree it up. For chicken breast lets say, I would cut it into chunks add it to the bullet, then add 2 tbs of chicken broth, or experiment with 2 tbs of you fav sauce......cream of mushroom soup, or cream of chicken soup if you want. I use my magic bullet at least 2 times a day (even if I wasn't on puree to make smoothies etc).....LOVE, lol
