dying hair

Hi there I am 3 months post op and am wondering if it is ok to dye my hair or will it fall out even more torn between losing hair and grey hair.

I hope someone gives an answer to this soon as I was planning on going to get my hair colored tomorrow.... it didn't even occur to me that it might not be okay post op???

Should be fine. Hair loss at the root is different than breakage. If you are experiencing hair loss as a result of surgery, it's loss from the root - below the skin, where hair colour doesn't go. (And if you're doing it yourself be sure not to rub the colour in to your scalp) Unless you have damaged hair (dry, split ends, breaks easily) colouring it shouldn't affect it any differently then it it did pre-surgery :)

I sure hope so....I have an apt Thursday and I'm only 3 weeks post op.

I have coloured my hair a few times since surgery. I am actually currently doing so as I type...didnt make my hair fall out before..I am sure it will be fine this time again!

i'll be colouring this week, gotta get er done!
