Do they actually not offer Mini Gastric Bypass in Ontario ?  Can't really find any info in old threads

No they don't.  RNY, VSG and DS are the only surgeries covered in Ontario.

MGB has never been offered in Canada. I went to Michigan to have it done 10 years ago, when the waiting list for gastric bypass in Ontario was 8 years and they weren't doing it laparascopically.

I had a revision from MGB to RNY this year in July. My surgeon told me that most MGBers regain all of the weight lost by the 5 year mark and that is roughly my experience, although there were some extenuating cir****tances (I was put on psychiatric meds that caused weight gain and gained 50 pounds in 2 months). He also said that my pouch from the MGB was not done correctly and I have seen similar complaints about my MGB surgeon (who no longer practices in Michigan and is no longer certified to perform MGBs).
