Inulin
Okay so I know that Inulin is recommended after surgery - over regular fibre. However I find that it just gives me gas. It really doesn't do anything else...
Anyone else?
Try pairing it with a good Probiotic too -- the prebiotic helps to feed the probiotic and together they create "healthy digestive" bacteria.
Have you been on it very long? Sometimes it takes up to a week for the digestive tract to get used to the abundance of bacteria before it settles down
Staying hydrated helps too
Good luck!

Yes Inulin fibre is all we should use if you need to up your fibre early post op. You will find as you add more things to your diet you won't need to get your fibre this way as much. I used to use my Inulin daily for several months but now just once in a while.
Yessss...
im experience insane gas from it!! I'm on opti and I can't being public or have company cause of the intense insane gas. It's unbearable :(
Im gonna have to switch to Senekot. I can't function with this level of gas and pressure in my stomach.
