RNY  4 Years 7 months Post Op

Morning

Up and in to work early today....going to leave this afternoon and drive north for a little R and R for the weekend......I wont be posting this thread for a few days....so please start it if you are first up in the morning

Not going to be the best eating day today.....but this is exactly what I plan on eating....I can handle the calories....its the carbs that are high for me.....most from fruit and veg....but still high

STEPS - 6780

EATS

B - 2 large mugs of regular coffee

     Premier protein shake

 

S - McDonalds muffin

 

S - greek yogurt

 

L/D - Panera Bread squash soup and a small thai chicken salad

 

S  at destination - 9 low sodium triscuits

                                  Shredded habanero cheese

                           9 oz of wine - type to be determined!

 

MYFITNESSPAL totals for the above menu are:  Calories   1,556,  Carbs - 169,  Fat - 52 grams,  Protein - 78 grams

All water ....vits

Three packets of OPTIFAST Chocolate and one Vanilla! One cup of chicken broth (no salt added), 2 decaf coffees, 2 decaf teas....and all the water I feel compelled to drink - yes, day one of OPTIFAST - here I come!

I loved opti - you never know, you might too!  Grinding it up with ice cubes and flavour shots really helped me.

I have a whole bunch of flavours at home...I think I will start to use them tonight. It isn't that bad...

RNY 30 Days Post Op Last day of time off…. Back to work tomorrow Love going to work on a Friday when I had the previous 33 days off makes a mighty short week hahahahahaha

Going through my closet today to see what I’ve got for work clothes. Fortunately I have lots of sizes to choose from.

Nice little scale victory I need to lose LESS than a 100 pound now!!!

 

Breakfast: ¼ cup Liquid Egg and 30 grams of Old Cheddar made into an Omelette & Cup Black Tea

Lunch: ¼ Cup Kerry’s Chunky Seafood Chowder & 2 Saltines

Dinner: ½ 50 grams Kerry’s Meatloaf and 4 Green Beans

 

Nighttime Snack: Premier Protein Shake

 

4 - 6 Cups Water

All Vitamins and Supplements

still not checking the scale. Lol just going on with each new day and feeling great!!

B- protein shake

S- fresh avocado mushed 1/4 cup

L- 1/2 cup butternut squash soup

S- 2 saltines with pate and 1 laughing cow wedge

D - puree chili with 1 tablespoon of ricotta cheese

 

All water and supplements- 30 mins cardio at the gym
