Pureed Stage Food Item I Found Today

Hey Everyone:
i was at ikea today and decided to buy my son some lunch. i was exhausted and really needed to rest a bit and i knew i needed some food in me as well.
the shrimp sandwiches looked fantastic -- so did their raps. but as i am in the pureed stage of things, i knew neither would sit well.
the greek yogurt was stirred (was hoping for fruit on the bottom so as to avoid the fruit on the bottom) so that was out. As we inched closed to the hot meals, i noticed these cute little round veggie thingies that looked like mush baked into a circle. i inquired into what it was and was told it was a vegetable medalian - brocs, cauli, potat, a wee bit of cheese, and onion seasoning. 2 for $1.99 (and they were BAKED).
i bought two. was only able to eat .5 of 1. but with some decent chewing, they went down so smooth ... was sooo full of flavour ... was natural and easy and didn't make me feel ill after. i would have done anything to eat the full 1 but didn't want to push my luck with my tumtum.
all natural ingredients.
these are a little decadent ... a bit rich in the calorie count for one (130), fat is at 8 g, carbs is 10g, and protein is 3g. that being said, to add a little spice to the boring pureed life every so often i am willing to go with it.
to my glee, they sell them frozen in the swedish grocery at check out - 8 for $6.99. 20 minutes in the over at 200c and they are good to go.
if the ingredients sound up your ally and you are at peace with the nutritional value for an occasional 'treat', i urge you to give it a try.
they sound yummy... wonder if I could make a version of it at home.

Sound yum. Sure I can make them myself. Add flavorless protein powder to the mix to jump up the protein.
This is way to low in protein. Where you are at you need to be thinking more of protein. That is all the maters at the stage you are at. To be honest even at 4 years PROTEIN is my first concern. Not worth the 130 calories. The greek yogurt would have given you more protein and what you had was not puree. They give you guidelines to follow for a reason.
