Ottawa Gastroscopy

Hi,

I know that this is the Ontario forum but I hope someone has been through Dr. Ganger (montreal).  I live in Gatineau (Qc) and I need to have all the tests done and results sent in by Dec. 6 (I got the scripts for the tests this morning).  My experience with *anything* medical in Gatineau in the last year has been less than spectacular.  I will pay out of pocket for the Gastroscopy in Ottawa but i'm afraid of how much all the tests would cost.  

I also have to bring twin 2 year olds on public transit in winter weather to get anywhere for the tests.  So any information would be amazing. 

Edit:  Finding a place to get an endoscopy in Ottawa is crazy!  I found one location that still has 2 appointments open (it will cost 500 dollars) and i'm not sure they will still be available by the time the surgeons office faxes the documents over to them.
