Tomorrow I meet my Surgeon...

Like the title says tomorrow I meet Dr.Klein for the first time at HRRH. I am kind of nervous...and VERY excited to be one step closer to the journey to living the rest of my life.
I have been trying to think of questions I want to ask and writing them down, I have heard the first meeting is rather quick so I am not sure I will even have time to ask away.

Good luck with your appointment, I have mine on Dec. 13th at TWH and the closer it gets the more scared I get, the nerves are freaking me out.  But I'm not giving up.

Thank you so much, and good luck to you as well on the 13th. A friend of mine had her procedure done at TWH and she said they were amazing. 

I am sure once we get into the appt all will ease. Can't wait!!

It will be fast! You'll probably get Dr. Glazer for Internist, so go to his office before you leave the clinic,it's on the 3rd floor, 306, and get your appointment.

I booked it right after my appt with Dr.Klein. 

Well I am home and very excited!! Really liked Dr Klein. He is a very nice man, down to earth and friendly. 

I met some very nice people as well while waiting for my appt. Never got any names though. I am pretty sure one is an active poster here. She has already had the procedure and was there for her 2 year check up. Looked amazing!! So if your reading this it was very nice to have met you!! 

The great news is that Dr. Klein said I am definitely a candidate, he told me that a person that weighs 227lbs would be fine on a frame of about 5'8 but not on a small frame like mine at 4'11. I was so thrilled to hear those words!!! 

He then asked if I had any questions and I asked about the vitamins and Optifast.  He told me I would have to do it for two weeks. 

How exciting this all is!!

I did feel really bad for this one couple I met, he had waited a year and a half to just get into an info session and was seeing the surgeon for the first time today, his wife's referral went in back in July and she hasn't heard anything at all. I told her to go back to her Dr and have them re send it. And keep calling!!   When they asked me how long I have waited my response was that I'd really rather not say. It has been less then a month for me, it will be 1 month tomorrow that my referral was sent out. And I felt so bad that I was sitting there.  Makes you wonder how many others are sitting and waiting. But then again can be calling and trying to speed things up. 

oh boy oh boy!!!  I have to admit I am really excited though :-)
