Surgery Tomorrow - Last post for now
My RNY is tomorrow morning and I just had my past Optifast EVER. 2 weeks of Opti and 18 lbs gone already. I'm nervous about tomorrow and sad that I have to leave my family for a few days, but at the same time elated that it's finally Surgery Day. I'm freaking out that I don't have what I need when I get home!
I spent today with my husband and kids, put up my Christmas lights outside and had a good cuddle with my 6 yr old before he went to bed.
I settled with my employer, so no longer getting fired for taking time off from the hospital for my surgery. When I say settled, I mean my lawyer said, ahem, you can't fire her.....and they said no problem. Quite a change of heart when the threat of legal action is there......it's been very stressful and I am pretty discusted by the way they've treated me over the last two months. When I left Friday, I was still on their schedule to work. Brutal.
THEY are behind me and the rest of my life with my awesome family is ahead!! Wish me luck!!
