Update on my surgery

I don't want to hex myself but I am doing remarkably well.

Little pain, no nausea and according to nurse Laurie I "pee like a rock star".

they are keeping me in two nights due to logistics - I live 2.5 hrs from Ottawa.

it will be nice to be home.

I will write a full account for pre-ops in Ottawa when I get home.

Congratulations Jo,

It is great news that you are feeling so well! Keeping you is a great idea since you are so far away, here in Toronto you have to stay no more than an hour from the hospital for the first week if you are going through Humber for safety. I wish you a speady recovery :)

Ottawa was really excellent. That is coming from a nurse!!! I'm 1.5 hours from Ottawa and so the extra time was helpful!

November 27th Referral sent. January Group orientation. April 10th Nurse . May 21st Nutrition and Behavior. May 24 Ultrasound. June 26th Group. July 16 Surgeon Surgery August 22

Surgery date is Oct. 17th, 2013 in Ottawa. I was referred to the clinic in September 2012. The person performing my surgery is Dr Amy Neville.
