Can we talk about Spanx/shapewear?

Ladies, do you wear Spanx or other shapewear? Where do you get it? What works for you?

I am having an issue wearing fitted shirts because my tummy is so "soft." I can't complain too much because I don't have really bad excess skin but it doesn't look good when I wear fitted clothes. I have taken to wearing a lot of cardigans and jackets.

I recently picked up a top at Costco that holds in the stomach. The medium went right down over my hips so no bulge below it.

The Shopping Channel carries them. I've never bought this item but I have purchased from TSC many times and have been happy with their products and customer service. I've never had to return anything but it seems like a pretty simple process if you have to (they send return labels with the item so you just pop it back in the mail).

Costco has great "maidenform" undies, and sears carries undie shorts that pull up to below bra line, that's the one I wear when I do fitted shirts :)

I have bought the Jockey Camisoles--the shapewear ones, they are tight right around the belly and lighter materal around the boobs and hips, kinda pricey but comfortable.

I wear BodyWear.  They have the long version that goes down the thigh and the short version that goes up under the bra and covers the whole waist, hips, etc.  I find them cheaper than Spanx and with good hold.  I buy them at a lingerie shop.  Check online.

I wear a spanx top and it works great but not cheap -about 80 dollars.  I also bought the control top undies from Costco and they are nice

Oooh, control top undies - I didn't know they carried those at Costco - guess I didn't notice.  I wear Costco's shapewear tank tops but sometimes I'd prefer to just have a control top undie in case I want to wear something off the shoulder.  Thanks for the info!

I got some awesome tummy sucker tanks at Costco.  Two in a pack, not expensive and they work really well.  I also have purchased at Walmart and marks work wear house.  Spanxs are great but very expensive and the costco ones do the trick, I have no issues with them rolling up and I wear them everyday
