Full fluids diet

Hello everyone.

Can you give me some meal suggestions for the full fluids diet? I am 6 days post op. I have been eating the low fat cream soups (strained), greek yogurt, cream of wheat, and some mashed cottage cheese. I add protein powder to everything. I even add some crystal light to my plain yogurt to give it flavour.

I have NO appetite. The soups are now boring to me. I feel like I can't be bothered to make them. I am so bored with food right now.

Any suggestions? What did you eat? I have my follow up appt with Dr. Sohi on Dec.30, and I am assuming I will get the go ahead to move on to the pureed phase for a week.

Thanks in advance.

The only other thing I ate was applesauce. You can eat jello too but I didn't, or popsicles that are sugar free.

It does get easier. I loved my first egg...

Sorry, I'm pre-op, so I have no direct suggestions for you. Someone in another forum suggested searching Pinterest for bariatric recipes. I have collected some bariatric recipe site URLs, though. Maybe some of these will help?

I completely relate.  I had my surgery on the 10th and am so tired of soup.  I found a peach protein drink that is very palatable.  I am looking forward to pureed just to mix it up a little.
