Blood thinners?
I am going thru Guelph. I've heard others talking about getting a prescription for blood thinners to take home.
Does everyone have to buy them or does it depend on your situation? Or is each center have a different policy?

The nurse in guelph assesses your risk of getting a blood clot depending on your score determines whether you need to stay on blood thinner after you are discharged. Everyone gets them while in the hospital.

I was through HRRH - finch and had to do blood thinners at home for 8 days post op.. 10 days total

I had surgery at TEGH and went home with blood thinners and yes you have to pay...i took them for 10 days
