Ultra Sound (abdominal) - fasting and no water for 6 hours

I'm scheduled for an ultra sound on Tuesday afternoon and have been advised not to eat or drink anything for 6 hours prior to the procedure. I'm just at 6 months post surgery.  I've left a msg for the TWH Bariatric Unit nurse practitioner, but I'm wondering if anyone else has had this procedure and what did you experience going withou****er for that long?  No dairy allowed for breakfast either, so I'm going with an egg.  They suggested toast and jam on voicemail, but I'm not yet doing bread - just haven't gone there yet.  Anybody else had similar experience?

I wouldn't worry about it. You sleep every night without consuming any water for hours ;)

Just make sure to bring something for after the procedure.
