No you do not need to bring your clap.  If you know the setting level they want that, but if not the respiratory specialist will find out for you when you are in the hospital.  The nurse will weigh you, just make sure their scale is somewhat what you expect.  It weighed light the first time for me - so I made her do it again and it was almost 4 KGS difference.  One sign for them she told me to see if you are following Optifast is if you lose weight between now & the day of the surgery.  So you need to make certain to shows your accurate weight today.  Maybe it was just being wonky when I sent there a couple of weeks ago.  Good luck!

Way to go Andrea.  Yesterday was day 2 for me and I was having a minor crisis, feeling hungry.  Just drank some cucumber water and got through ok.  I feel much better today.

PATTS is a walk in the park, had mine Tuesday.  It's so close now!

That's fantastic!  I really didn't mind the Optifast either.  Please excuse my typing errors - I hate replying using my tablet, should use my main computer.

Have a great day!

I'm there today for 2:30.  Day 1 of opti for me... wasn't great, but I got it down.

Feeling pretty real now!!

12 pounds in one week is fantastic.  I prefer the chocolate blended with lots of ice and decaf coffee crystals. The vanilla is tolerable with whole pack crystal lite raspberry blended in.  When you open a vanilla package it smells like Playdoh.

I made it through the afternoon...it was a lot of waiting. And I showed up early - cause I'm anal like that ;) - and the anesthesiologist was running late. But it's done now and I just have to keep sippin' my opti. Jilly? Were you the tall dark haired girl wearing black? I was the one wearing blue capris and a red/blue tshirt. :) met a surgery twin today too - Robert (and his lovely wife). :)

I saw you there!  I was in the purple shirt, green and black bag, trying to read a book (the TV was too loud!) :)
