I DID IT!! My first women's sprint duathlon. My time was much better than anticipated!! I was expecting 1:45 and surprisingly got 1:29:56! It was a3K run (25:15), 12K ride (38:19) and another 3 K run (26.23). Totally amazing the inner strength you get in yourself once you lose 120 pounds. If someone told me last summer I would be doing this, this summer, I would have said you are NUTS!! LOL so far I have officially done, 2 - 5K, 10k and this duathlon. Have signed up for 2 more 10k this summer and a few more 5K. Who would have thunk it?? Not me!! My new addiction is exercise!! LOL Life is good!!! :)

Congratulations! What an awesome accomplishment!

Re. the iPad - I think a lot of people have troubles posting photos with them, you may have to use your computer.

That's awesome! Way to go!! I am working towards a 10k this summer but now I'm thinking I'd love to try a duathlon. I hate swimming (well I hate bathing suits) so a triathlon is not for me but duathlons are really gaining in popularity lately

That's excellent!  I am happy for you.  Where did you start and what kind of surgery did you have?
