Shingles

So I'm 5 1/2 months out & got the wonderful diagnosis of shingles today. Has this happened to anyone else? I still have my hair & loosing my gallbladder on July 31, but this pain & itching. OIY!

Ouch! Sorry to hear that. I haven't had the shingles experience but know it is very paiinful!! Hope you feel better soon!

I was at Humber but I work at Lakeridge & a bunch of my patients had it recently as well

Do a search as I believe someone else recently on this forum had them and was told it had to do with a weakened immune system sorry to hear. Makes me think I might like to look at if I can be vaccinated for this? Get well soon

Thanks Karen. It's been rough but it could have been worse with complications. I have no regrets. I'm down 87 lbs & still have my hair (knock on wood)
