Hi,

I just found out about a book that is being launched next week about one woman's journey through RNY.  I don't know the author, nor do I have any affiliation with the book or the event.  I just thought there might be some folks interested in reading the book and/or attending the launch.

For anyone interested, details are here: http://www.karenclouter.com/index.html

Thanks for the heads-up, I usually enjoy these kind of events. I have to say though (no reflection on YOU for posting about it) I'm not too sure her book, or presence, would mean all that much to me. She's a pretty new post-op (2012) who isn't close to the finishing line or what resembles her own finishing line. I'd be interesting in hearing from anyone *****ad the book though.

On a side note, I emailed the author and offered to meet her for coffee sometime. She was exceptionally gracious and I am looking forward to meeting her.
