got my 1st surgeon appt, Dr. STARR @ HRRH

Hi everyone! I was persistent in phoning the clinic everyday last week, leaving messages, did get a reply back saying that they got my message , and then I phoned again yesterday.....and SOMEONE ANSWERED THE PHONE! and booked my surgeon appt right then for OCTOBER 17!!! and then emailed me the dietitian, social worker and nurse clinician appts which are DECEMBER 11. The receptionist did say they are EXTREMELY busy right now.....I feel for them actually, being bogged down like that all the time.... UGH

I am now over the moon excited and its real!!! OMG

Anyhow I have read good things about Dr. Starr, but thought I would see if any of my peeps on here have met him or had their surgery with him?

Dr. Starr was my surgeon, I found he was very professional, caring and has a terrific sense of humour. The girls in the office are awesome. You are in great hands.

Dr Starr admitted me for my gallbladder as my surgeon was not on call. My ecperience with him was limited but he seemed very nice with a great bedside manner.

Congratulations Chrissy ! Great news ! That was a good feeling for me to , really felt like the ball was rolling and becomes more real :)
