A quick update

Well it's been 2 weeks tomorrow since I had the surgery.  And things are going great. Since I started the opti 5 weeks ago I'm down about 47lb. 20 since surgery alone.

Ive found some things easier than others...  I can go out with someone for a meal and enjoy my 4 or 5 spoonfuls of soup while they have their full meal....  I went for a walk down in sauble last weekend and felt pretty good. I'm able to stand up for longer without tiring out as quickly..  I'm wearing clothes that were too tight before without an issue. :)

I am excited :). I bought a new belt the other day (by necessity because my old one broke) and without thinking I bought what was considered too small for me before...  I've gotta get out the leather punch tomorrow because I'm on the last hole :)  my wife even says my "ass is flattening out"

has has it been hard?  Yes...  Was it worth it.... Yes

am I glad I did it now and not years ago.....  I don't know if I could have put the emotional commitment into it then as I am now (especially since my mother passed away 6 weeks before surgery).

Anywys. A lot of rambling but things are looking good on this end :)
