Hey ya'll

Today's my first day back to work, and needless to say, rather stressful (amazing what doesn't get done when I'm away)

I am tired from all the work (thankfully it's a desk job), and my neck is hurting a bit from looking at my laptop.  (not surprised about that)

What is kind of concerning me, is that I've starting having a jabbing pain in the middle/right of my abdomen.  About an inch to the right, and an inch up from the incision above my belly button.  The pain is not severe (about a 2.5/10), but just started about 30 minutes ago.

Should I just take this as stress or is it something I should be concerned about?

I'm not 100% sure what it is, but would ask how your posture is at your desk.  If you are not using correct posture, it can cause other muscle issues.

I wonder if it's simply "tired" muscles/guts from sitting at a desk for an extended period of time since you've been off since surgery.

Having said that, if you're concerned, call your doc!

I called the centre (caught the nurse as she was ready to head out). Didn't seem too concerned

got worse as I was getting home. My wife got me to take some children's Tylenol which seems to have helped.

Long story short, with what happened after that... Seems it may have been gas..

thanks guys for your input :)

Well, not as easy as gas it doesn't look like :(

Pain went away with some gas passing & children's Tylenol..  great.. until it came back this morning..  getting worse today...

Called the centre back - they said to call Dr. Klein..  have an app't for Thursday AM with him.  He doesn't think it's anything surgery related, but we'll see...
