Last night was a perfect reminder of what happens to me if I don't drink enough water in a day.  I ran some errands after work and was just kind of feeling out of it, in a fog.  Got home and changed into nice warm fresh pj's and proceeded to spill water all over my bedroom floor while trying to fill the humidifier. Got that all cleaned up and changed into dry pj's and proceeded to spill water all over the kitchen floor while trying to fill the coffee maker.  No, I'm not normally that much of a spaz. But last night my motor skills and cognitive function were definitely impaired. It's almost like being drunk.  I changed my pjs again, sat down on the couch with a big bottle of water, and just relaxed and drank for the rest of the evening, trying to keep myself out of trouble.  DRINK WATER!  YOUR BRAIN NEEDS IT!

Oh that's so true! I suffered a brain injury when I had a cardiac arrest back in 2011. One of the things  I learned from that was water water water keeps your entire body functioning but certainly contributes to our brain functions. Post wls, I really noticed that brain fog, spaz thing happening and I try my best to keep a bottle with me all the time.
