Nope you shouldn't use it, HRRH doesn't let us.

Starting weight: 334 lbs.Starting opti weight: 323 lbs, Surgery weight 303 lbs.Surgery-May 21st, 2013 with Dr Hagen at HRRH Goal weight 165 lbs reached at 13 months. Current weight 156 lbs

I was told no as well (Guelph). BTW, you might want to try ice rather than heat on your knee. If it's inflamed, heat will make it worse. I hate applying ice since I'm almost always cold, but it works a treat!

I was told by Humber that yes we can use voltaren topical cream.  I use it on my knee when it acts up.  Perhaps we should be asking our surgeons.  I dont use it daily and sometimes not even weekly.. and the amount of anti inflamitory in it is less absorbed than pill form.
