I'm sorry you had to deal with such a disagreeable man.

The article was interesting, but I really would have liked to know what the consequences of the guilty verdict are.  Is there a huge fine?  Will  his practice be suspended?  Will he just be given another 16 months to take the course?

If you hear more about this, please let us know!

I would like to know that as well!

If I hear anymore, I will share the news.

I went to the London clinic.  Guy talked so fast that I didn't understand what he was saying.  My doc was very hesitant to send me there because he had misdiagnosed some of her patients with narcolepsy.  The clinic has a much shorter waitlist which makes it attractive....but to be sold a CPAP machine when you don't need it, but the doc gets a kickback is just really bad practice.

I went to him too. Although I found the whole experience to be not terrible.  I really have my doubts whether I needed intervention at all and I strongly suspect he finds that just about everyone needs a CPAP because he sends them to a store he owns.  Some of the charges from this article are related to a conflict of interest because of that.
