Corn on the cob? Too early or not at all?

Hello all I am about 5.5 months out and wanted to try corn on the cob soon.  Have any of you had experiences with it?  I was thinking I could start off with half of a corn on the cob and see how that went down.  No butter of course but maybe a little bit of kosher salt.  I have had tiny bits of regular corn here and there since 3 months out but only in a soup.

What was your experience with corn on the cob and what do you think?  Is it too early?  Should I skip it altogether?  I would be having this in addition to about 2-3 oz of protein.

Corn is a wasted calorie, no nutritional value. I would skip it and grab a salad, just my .02
