Does anyone have opti for sale. I have a friend who is giving his mother a kidney and need's to lose twenty pounds fast. They suggested a protein drink and want to charge him a ridiculous amount.

If you can't find any Optifast, Ensure is also an option. It is readily available from stores like Walmart and other drug stores.

If they suggested a protein drink, I would suggest Premier protein shakes (Costco) as far as high protein, low carb, good nutrients. The GNC Total Lean shakes are also comparable. I do not recommend Ensure or Boost as someone else suggested - very poor nutrition in those, too much sugar.

Thank's Karen I thought about the Premier but thought Opti would have more nutrient's. And your right deff not  Ensure or Boost.

Ideally it would be more of a "meal replacement" shake (like Optifast), you're right. What did they offer to sell him?

To each their own. I have no issues at all with Ensure and like that it is readily available. A long time ago it was fairly high in sugar, but Abbott has since significantly reduced the amount of sugar and the shake packs a lot of nutrients. Combine it with snacks high in fibre and potassium and I still think it is a decent supplement and/or replacement (in sufficient quantities).
