driver's licence

In December I had to renew my driver's licence.  I opened the mail today with the new photo.  If I ever had any doubts about getting the surgery, that picture does the trick.  I don't even recognize myself.  I can't wait until the day someone looks at that and says it is "not me".  So happy that this will be the year I get myself back.  Did everyone take " before" pictures?  I avoid the camera at all costs.

Take and keep your before photos.   It's easy the further out you are to forget how life limiting obesity is.  Referring back to the old you can assist in keeping you on the straight and narrow.

Thats awesome!!

I've said it a million times....take pics each month....same spot same clothes (for as long as you can wear the same clothes  )!!!!

Every time I get down I go through my100's  of pics, and it always cheers me up.  You won't see the big changes as they happen without them.

I took photos every month along with my measurements.  As MonaLisa said, same clothes, same spot and I took from all sides...the full 360 degree...LOL

Before pics are great. Also take your measurements. At about three weeks you will stall. Everyone does. But you will find your measurements will go down. Great way to keep you motivated

...Along with keeping a NSV log as you go through all the realizations of how mental & physical changes effect you.  As you put years of healthy weight under your belt it is too easy to forget all the uncountable ways that MO damages your life.

I had my best friend specifically take before shots the day before surgery.  I haven't taken any recently (going to take some at the 2 month mark) but I have taken measurements.
