Last day of optifast. It feels so surreal. This is all I have thought about for so long. I have two young sons. I am worried that worst case will happen but just need to get that out of my mind. We are leaving for the hotel in Guelph in about two hours.

referral: early June 2016; surgery Feb 21, 2017

Congratulations!  Tomorrow at this time, you'll be on the loser's bench, and soon you'll be losing weight and you'll have much more energy to play with your little sons.

Sending warm thoughts and prayers to you.

Take care.

Leeann,

That's normal to feel that way...I have two daughters who still needed me too.  Maybe this will help put those facts in perspective....there is a higher risk of being hit by a car while crossing the street and being killed then having that surgery....and we still cross the road....so trust me you are going to be fine.

Be calm..you are in awesome hands.

Message me if you need a pep talk!!

You got this girl! It's normal to feel that way. My surgeon said that it shows how you understand how it's a going to be a big change and that you are ready for it. Don't hesitate to ask for anti anxiety meds to calm you down before heading to the surgery area. I'll be thinking of you!
