What weighs ten pounds??

Hi everyone!

Still settling in to my liquid diet, but one thing I'm having trouble with is conceptualizing what weighs more than ten pounds and thus will be limiting for the next six weeks.

My parents will be here until Thursday to help me get a bunch of stuff done that I won't be able to do for a while, but so far all we've been able to think of is grocery shopping and laundry, most of which is already done.

Are we missing anything? I don't want to wake up this weekend and realize there was something obvious that we missed. XD

I have a stepping stool set up beside my bed, I've reorganized my fridge so that everything's either on the top shelf or the door, and I emptied the ice bag in my freezer into smaller portions.

If you take a gallon of water, it's just shy of 10 Lbs as well.

Keep in mind, they also don't want you bending as that puts pressure on everything.

I know someone that lifted and did stuff she wasn't supposed to and she tore some of the internal staples in the pouch and has had problems ever since (been over a year). When in doubt.... Don't do it!

I always gauge what 10lbs is by comparing it to a bag of potatoes (which is exactly 10 lbs).

10 lbs of butter.

that is what my mom uses for every weight. she says compare it to a lb of butter. she even measures my weight loss by butter. but it gives a good estimate.

I would think bending pressure would be bad as Well? I am not sure but the tub and toilet cleaning poped in my head.

What about anything high as well?

Do you have a lawn that needs cutting?
