The pharmacist appointment was fine. Nothing to report there.

My new blood work came back. My vitamin D was up to 74 (normal is 75-200 apparently) so yay.

My blood pressure was high though at 151/101 and my HR was 124. Total white coat syndrome. I have been super stressed and worried about this appointment. They weren't overly concerned about this and said they'd ask me how it's been when they talk to me again

She has said she'll speak to me again before releasing me to meet the surgeon because they want the report from my 24hr heart trace I did on Monday/Tues this week and I need to have a Pap smear. She did said she isn't concerned and they'll release me at that point (providing no issues with pap or heart trace report).

Apparently if she sends my file to meet the surgeon mid Jan the appointment via telehealth will be Feb and my surgery will almost certainly be March.

I don'tt know why I feel so anxious tonight it was a positive appointment. I just felt so rushed with her like she couldn't wait to get rid of me and dropping surgery risks in whilst flying through at the rate of knots was interesting (long term NP and a new one shadowing). They didn't even ask my understanding of the risks lol

Congrats on being almost there... Fingers crossed that your holter monitor test comes back perfect and you can be released to the surgeon. Exciting times ahead for you. Congrats again and best wishes.

Sorry to here they had you so stressed out. It sounds like the appointment went well though. What other tests did you require before this appointment? They mentioned something about dental and eye appointments at my orientation. I shouldn't need a pap (hysterectomy no cervix) and a mammogram (low risk no family history and my age). I have had a sleep test and bloodwork several times.

I am surprised how quickly your surgery may happen. I can understand why you are nervous.

They did ask about optical and dental and I'm too young for a mammogram (they did ask).

I didn't need a sleep study and I had a colonoscopy and endoscopy for something unrelated late last year which helped. I asked my family Dr for new bloods in anticipation of this appointment as I knew they'd query my low vitamin d.

I hope it is as fast as she said it was!
