Good morning :)

Trying to have a somewhat productive day -- laundry, dishes, cooking up some food for the week. I have a few other things on my list that I could do since it's too cold to go outside again ;)

Post-op two years, ten months.

Breakfast - yogurt and banana

Snack - sausage, sweet potato

Lunch - chicken, maybe salad

Snack - cheese and crackers

Dinner - leftovers

Snack - fake cheesecake (I'm going to try making a low sugar strawberry sauce to go on top)

All water and vits.

Hi guys,

I guess this this is my formal introduction to the menu thread. I initially jus****ched the boards doing "research" on surgery and my options in 2016. (Oh so helpful!) I'm now one year post op and feeling great! I've surpassed my surgery teams expected weight loss and am doing well both mentally & physically.

Here comes the BUT......I've kind of met my goal weight, and I say 'kind of' as it seems to be a moving target for me. Everytime I reach it I lower it a bit more. That aside, my real issue is that I've done so well with compliance right up to the ten month post op mark, but now am struggling daily with good choices (a chocolate here, a cracker there, social situations involving food etc.) so I thought jumping on here and making myself accountable is just what I need.

Although I've not been visibly active on the site I read the boards every single day and have done so since day one postop. So I thank everyone out here who takes the time and effort to post to help others and themselves.

I look forward to joining you on the boards on Monday!

Have a great weekend everyone!

Your surgery will be here before you know it. Saving a spot for you on the loser's bench. Once again remember, walk, sip, toot, repeat.

Let us know how you are doing and I look forward to you joining us here post-op.

Hello Leeann, Meg, everyone.

Still feeling tired so I allowed myself to sleep in today. Went to the gym for 2 1/2 hours and then DH and I went out for a mini date. We went to listen to live music and I had a latte. He's still feeling this stupid cold.

The eats today are and were:

B. Coffee, got up very late

L. Greek Salad with grilled chicken

S. Large SF decaf latte

D. Lillydale turkey, GG mashed cauliflower with cheese and bacon, gravy

S. Not sure I need one, but if I do, I will have an egg.

Have a good evening everyone.
