Vitamin D3 ASAP
I was told I need 6000-10000 IU of Vitamin D3, in a dry or chewable formula, as my levels pre-op are low. I read here that this can be found behind the counter at Walmart, but the pharmacist said the highest dosage they have is 1000, and she's never heard of anything higher. I just looked on Amazon, and couldn't find anything. Aside from Costco, does anyone know where this dosage can be bought ASAP?
Mines are also low and you just have to take multiple pills to make up the amount. That is what my doctor told me to do.

I take 8 chewable 1000 IU of D3 a day. The highest dose I have ever seen is 1000IU.

My vitamin D was low too and my doctor told me to take 8 vitamin D pills a day until it came up. It took me several months, and when I went back to 1 a day it dropped drastically and my doctor told me I'd have to take 2 a day, probably forever.
You just have to take enough of them to add up to the dosage you need.

I took them all at once. My doctor offered me a prescription for a high dose vitamin that I could take once a week too, but I didn't want such a super high dose once a week.
Ask you doctor if you should take them all at once or break it up though; I could have been stupid about it. It never occurred to me to break the dosage up

On Amazon - biotech has dry D3 in 50,000 IU. I take that 1or 2 times a week.

We have to order from amazon.ca and it's not available on there. I have to order from Vitalady as she is the only one that ships to Canada.
