What are you eating/doing today? (Tuesday)

There have been lots of people who have posted that they never feel full in the way that they did before surgery. Some also say that they never feel hungry, more like empty (I'm not one of those) Guelph has said that it is important to not eat over a cup in volume because it can stretch your pouch (of course this volume is only after you are 6 months post-op). If you are feeling like you are craving carbs, try cutting them out for a week and see if that helps with the cravings. I'm from the school of try something and if it doesn't work than try something else. Most of your menu looks low carb. Sometimes when I'm hungry drinking something will help with the hunger, especially if it's a hot drink. I'm not sure if it's because sipping something super hot saltifies the hunger or that it just takes so long that the cravings pass, lol.

Thank you for this info. I have been eating a cup at a time for a while now. I am 7 months out. I do keep it to a cup. I am not gaining anymore but I am not losing either. But I am going to stick to it anyway!

Good afternoon everyone,

I'm sorry about your husband Megs and that you are having a hard time keeping food down. I hope this will pass for you soon. Have you looked over any of the recipes from Eggface? I still like the crab and ricotta bake. To me, it's still warm comfort food, but you know what you will be able to keep down. With me, it was anything fried. Boiled, baked, fresh - that was all good for me.

B - protein shake and streams of black decaf coffee

L - chicken salad with crackers (Nature's Elite)

S - Armstrong cheese stick

D - Scrambled eggs with goat cheese (1.5 eggs) and salsa

S - 1/2 cup plain yogurt with blueberries and 1/4 cup low fat granola

Calories 805 (low), Protein 62, Carbs 75 (too much processed foods today).

Will plan better for tomorrow. Have a good night (and a good date C.C.)
