Rounds....

Hey all! Feeling pretty good today about the process at TWH.

Finished my last assessment with the dietitian yesterday and was told I would be moving on. So now I just have to wait to see when I can meet the surgeon (whom ever that may be). My first thought was "Yay! Moving on!", and directly after that came "More waiting. Argh."

But looking back at my timeline now, I really feel good about the positive changes I've made and the direction I want to go in.

For anyone new to the program (at Toronto Western or elsewhere), trust the process. You are worth the time and effort.

Congratulations!!! The waiting is the worst part. It'll be your turn in no time. Hang in there!!!

Congrats on making it this far! I'm also cleared and waiting on a call to meet the surgeon so you are not alone.

I agree,,, even with the waiting, the process seems to work very well and the positive changes make it that much more exciting.

I think they "make" us wait to educate ourselves.... and ensure that we are ready and making the right decision. Some think of this as a quick fix.. and not realize it is simply a tool we are given.. not a magic wand!! Hang in there.. it truly is well worth the wait!! good luck!
