Before I forget

I have family and friends keep asking me how they can help me after the surgery, I just tell them is support but i know they are looking to help me phically and I donno what to tell them. What would you guys do or have done in the situation?

They can make food for you. They can do groceries, laundry, clean up. You really can't do physical stuff. No lifting or anything like that. Change your bedsheets?

I couldn't have a shower for a bit and my hair was gross. I got my sister to take me to the hairdresser just to have my hair washed and dried.

You also have a one week follow up. Someone can drive you to the appt and be with you then.

I wanted to get out and walk around. I had a friend come to the mall with me and do some walking.

There's all kinds of stuff they can help you with.

I had my surgery in January. For 3 months I couldn't shovel snow. My friends and family chipped in.

My neighbours walked my dogs.
