IT"S MY TURN... TOMORROW!!!

Yep, tomorrow at 5:30 I'm on my way to the hospital (about a mile from my house) ans surgery is scheduled for 7:30.

LOT'S OF EMOTIONS RIGHT NOW!!!! 

I did not make it to 199 but my weight today is 205.6!! YAY. One more pound and I am half the woman I use to be!!!!

Am I scared .YEP, But this is the pot of gold at the end of the raonbow.

I appreciate everyone's wisdom and I will report back as soon as possible.

I'm headed to my favorite mom&pop coffee shop for a GIANT peanut butter cookie!

 I was 6 lbs away from my surgery goal too!!  No worries, we can get that off along with the surgery fluids in no time.  I will be thinking of you.  I am 5 days out today and took a shower by myself, just needed a little help drying off my calves and getting back into the compression.  I am not taking any pain meds at this point.  Well....I took one before bed last night but that was more to fall asleep because of the freaking earthquakes we are having here it was keeping me awake.    This will be in your rear view mirror before long!!  Then just travel through a week or two of difficulties and it all gets better and better until you are back to normal -- no, better than normal!!

I will be saying prayers and thinking of you! I wish you much success and hope your feeling better really really soon! You will do great look at the awesome things you have accomplished so far! Congratulations! So exciting! Keep in touch can't wait to hear how your doing! Take care and be good to yourself! HUGS!!!

Just received my call from the nurse.

Markings at 7:00
Head to operating room at 7:30 for body clense, positioning, draping.
They are starting on my back first.

I need to head out to pick up Hibiclense?? To wash with tonight and tomorrow morning.

Good luck!! Not nearly as bad as I thought it was going to be, more of an annoyance with the drains and compression garments.  God bless anyone who wore these things during the summer!  Rememeber to take a stool softener every time you take a pain pill. Will be keeping you in my thoughts and sending you good karma!!  Let us know (when you can) how you are doing.

 Good Luck!  I agree with the advice regarding the stool softeners.  Take one every time you take a pain pill and your life will be so much easier!
