Good luck!! I had a BL/BR in august and it was pretty easy as far as recovery goes. Not much pain at all and quick healing. I think it is far more painful when they put in implants due to muscle involvement etc.

Youll love your new, young boobs!!

You are SO gonna love the girls when they're all done! I was a bit sad, and so was DH that my DDs were going to be Bs, but I wound up with full Cs/small Ds after it all, and they're PERKY for the first time in almost 40 years! This is great!

I love my BL/BR that I had done on dec 9th.  I don't know what he took out.  I was a 34DD going in.  Once the swelling goes down I will know the size.  I think I had the drains for a few days.  I'm still carrying around two remaining drains from the LBL and thighs.  Airport security had fun with the alien babies yesterday.  I wondered if I should claim them as adopted babies when I went through immigration.

The recovery is easy except where the soft bra/ arm compression garment ride on the incision line.

Good luck!  You are going to love your new girls.

Lee, can you share what the total cost of your plastics and stay in Mexico was, even a ball park figure will do. Just need to start planning this well in advance and put the money aside. I will be a self pay for plastics because my insurance only pays if weight loss is superior to 100 lbs and I only need to lose a max of 80. Thanks!

Hi. I don't generally share the cost of my surgery because Dr. Sauceda charges based on multiple procedures.  My cost was a little over 1/3 what kaiser quoted and that would have been four recoveries.  As of today, if your surgery is more that $7k, the hotel and up to $600 in airfare are covered.  I had my entire body done, knees to elbows as well as my face and it's been a relatively easy recovery for me, considering what I had done.  Come join us on Dr. Sauceda group if you'd like.

When you're close to plastics weight, send him pics, panties only, front side back etc to [email protected]

There is a price list for procedures on his website. Google Dr. Francisco Sauceda in Monterrey Mexico.  His site is medicaltourism.com.mx or something similar.

Good luck!

Recovery will be a breeze. I only had to keep my drains 2 days and I pulled them out myself. What helped me a lot is that I used unscented maxipads to place against the incisions to protect them from rubbing against the sportsbra I wore. Much cheaper than gauze and more comfy. The bra held them in place.

Congrats!!

 Hi Laura,

I use pads as well but I'm in a one piece compression garment because my arms were also done. I hate the rubbing on the incisions. I'm hoping to be less sensitive and more healed this week.

Yesterday I removed the final 2 of the 11 drains I had. One at the knee and one in the mons. What a freaking cause for celebration!
