I am 11 days post op from my t.t. and arm lift. Having itiching issues
but nothing really bad. No bruising, slight swelling. Able to shower the
next day. The dr. used glue no outside suttures. I have to say that
I am really pleased with how good I feel. Sure I am sore but nothing to bad.
I have not had pain meds since 4 days post op. Tail bone hurts
more than anything from laying on it.

I will be posting pics soon.

Well, I'm totally jealous of the shower thing. My TT was on June 7th, and my surgeon says no shower until 24 hours after the drains come out. Yuck!

Sounds like you had some great results. I was also surprised to find that my TT recovery has been virtually painless. I expected much worse. Like you mentioned, laying around taking it easy is where the pain comes from (not from the TT itself). Glad things went well for you!

So glad to hear everything went well! I was pleasantly surprised that there wasn't much pain too. I was sore, but the worst pain was from where he did some lipo. Go figure!

If the itching gets bad, you can try benadryl or claritin. My torso was very dry and itchy because I wasn't allowed to use *any* lotion until 4 weeks out (2 days ago).  Mine was the worst at night and the benadryl didn't seem to be helping much so my PS prescribed something called Hydroxine (I think) which is stronger than benadryl, but works similarly. It definitely helped!

I hope you continue to have a good and easy recovery!

I'm happy to hear you're doing so well. I have 4 consults over the next couple of weeks and as ps gets closer I get more nervous about how laid up I'll be.  Love the idea of using glue.
Wishing you a speedy recovery!

So glad you are doing so well.  How is it getting up without the use of your arms or can you use them any?

Tess, Getting up was an issue but I think it helped that I really
worked on my legs with pilates prior to surgery. I had to learn, quickly,
to just use my legs for things. Amazing how much you use your
tummy muscles even for the littlest things like spitting. Goddess help us if
we sneeze!

My husband even commented on how much I was using my thigh muscles
to get on the potty and sitting back down in my chair. I truly believe that
I was in the best shape of my life prior to surgery. I did pilates every day, I
upped my protien I took my vitamins and I meditated. All these things really
helped.

The doctor did do lipo on my arms prior to removing the excess. I was very surprised
by the no bruising.

Oh and as for using my arms, I could make big motions the first
couple of days, than slowly bend more. Only real issues now are
lifting heavy then I realized things like glass of water. And reaching.
I just go slow till I feel the stretch then I stop.
I can brush my own teeth since the beginning.
Also was able to help myself in the restroom since the begining. Thank
goodness as I got my "friend" just before surgery. I just went slow.
