Swelling post LBL

I am having LBL and BA/BL 9/10. I would like to get my family photographed this fall by a professional photographer. How long did it take for most of the swelling to go down? I was thinking about scheduling something for late Oct/early Nov but wasn't sure that would be enough time.

Thanks,

Amy

Unless you're planning on family photographs in swimwear (like a bikini!), you should be okay by late Oct-Nov.  Later is better.  Once you're out of swell hell, the swelling that happens really isn't noticeable in clothes that aren't skin tight.  It's just uncomfortable.

By 3 weeks out most of my swelling was gone and I attended a formal event. I could not fit into my favorite jeans at that point, but dresses were fine for me.
