Itchy/flaky skin?

I'm about 3 1/2 weeks out from lbl/bl & augmentation, and the skin on my lower abdomen and lower side of my breasts is ITCHY and starting to flake.

Anyone else have this?  I see my surgeon on Tuesday and am not overly concerned, just wondering what is up.

Mine is doing the same thing, but I don't know why either. My surgery was just a few days after yours, so I'm guessing it's normal. I see my doc on Thursday and it's on my list of questions for him.

In case anyone else has this question, here's what the PA at my surgeon's office said:

The top layer of your skin is basically dead, and we usually shed it gradually.  Post-op swelling means your skin stretched and is now going back down, but the "dead" skin doesn't shrink again, so it gets flaky and peels, almost like a sunburn. 

She said I can put Eucerin on it, but it won't help the already dead skin, it just might make things less itchy and help the skin underneath.

 i just think that you have eczema skin disorder. but to be sure of the condition, you must be able to consult a doctor to get proper diagnosis. the key to treat eczema on face is never to keep the skin of the face dry. check out your diet and avoid foods that can trigger allergy on the skin. keep the skin hydrated by drinking adequate amount of fluids. using an all natural skin moisturizer can help keep the skin moist all day. 

I had to stop Vit E 15 days before PS.  Adding it back in after surgery helped with the dry, flaky skin.  Lots of lotion!
