Mons Lift Swelling

I had a tummy tuck with a mons lift 3 weeks ago and just recently am dealing with a lot of swelling in the area below my horizontal incision. I have a call into the PS but am just wondering if anyone else dealt with this. My worry is that the vertical incision is puckered and the area is sore from all the swelling.

Normal. You can have that swelling for weeks or months. It's the lowest point for the collection of fluid. The puckering will smooth out as the internal stitches dissolve. Again, it might take months for it to completely smooth out, but you'll see it improving.

Thank you so much for your response. I hope the swelling goes down soon.

Swelling is very normal in this area especially for it is dependent and all the fluid/blood drainage goes down into that area. It is really early to tell about the scar but don't forget that a lot more tissue was removed than the length of the scar and initially because of that there will be puckering which usually smooths out.
