Butt Implants

How many of you had butt implants with your LBL?  Is it necessary to get these to get a natural look?  Do some plastic surgeons automatically put these in?  I'm having a LBL, flankplasty, arm lift and upper eye lids done soon by Dr. Capella and wondering if I should ask him for butt implants as well.  Thanks!!

I had a remote consultation with Dr. Capella and specifically asked him about butt augmentation and he said it varies among surgeons but that he didn't do them.  The surgeon I went with (in the DC area) does do them and I am THRILLED with my results.  Try pulling all of your loose skin up and imagine it being gone, and see how flat your butt looks.  My surgeon took my tissue and made me what he calls a "small badonkadonk" lol.  I love it love it love it.  I will try to get a pic and post it - I can't seem to take pics of my behind but I can ask a friend.  Perhaps see what he says if you ask him.  I have seen Nikke's pics from the work he did on her and she looks fabulous so he obviously does do great work :)

Can you tell me who your surgeon was? I'm looking for one in DC area that does fat tansfer to buttocks with LBL

I could NOT be more thrilled with my breast lift, lower body lift, and the butt augmentation using my own tissue.  Today I am 3 weeks post op and swelling is minimal, I am 100% mobile and back to work and walking and living my regular life :)

Im glad to hear of at least one patient having had success with buttock implants.  They generally have a high complication rate in the best of hands, and you are going to find a large number of surgeons simply opting not to perform them.  My preference is to use the patient's own tissue as a "flap", which has a very low complication rate.

I can say that my autoaugmentation of my rear end is one of the very best things about my body sculpting.  Not painful to me and great results!

The flaps can prevent too much flattening of the buttocks after the lift corrects the loose skin, and also provide additional padding tot he tailbone area, which can be very uncomfortable for some people.

I can totally agree with you on how a butt flap helped my uncomfortable tailbone situation!
