HELLO! new here....

hi everyone! had rny 15months ago and now preggo with baby #4!! this will be first baby post op...im a little scared...ill be 12 weeks and lost 5lbs since last month...is this normal? do some ppl lose while preg and is it safe? maybe i have too many questions lol also all my babies ranged from 9.5lb-10.5lb big babies...does this mean baby will be smaller? im scared of gaining too much! im sure u all are! any answers or suggestions would be great and id love some new friends!! thanku jenn

Congrats on your pregnancy!!!! We should be due around the same time!!!! I don't have much answers because this is my 1st! Maybe we can learn together!!!!

Congratulations!  Well, I accidentally got preggers 6 months out from my RNY, but keeping that in mind....I lost 30lbs the first trimester from morning sickness and I assume the RNY combined.  At almost 35weeks, I've only gained back 8 pounds.  Also, my 4 yr old son, born pre-op, was 9lbs 11oz and they are predicting this baby will be right around 7lbs by my scheduled c-section date.  

I know there are many women who have babies pre and post that are around the same size, but it shouldn't be a big surprise if the baby is a little smaller than the others.  I assume that my case is a little exaggerated because I'm so soon out from surgery.  :)
